The Threads
restore playbook
this is the exact playbook i used after Threads disabled my account. it worked for me. it is not a promise.
01 / the core one-pager
do this in order.
Keep the facts the same in every place. Your goal is one clean case, one honest post and one easy action.
-
01
save the proof
Take shots of every screen. Note your handle, time, exact message and whether an appeal button is there.
-
02
use the appeal you can see
If Threads shows an appeal, use it once. If not, write down that no appeal was shown. Do not make up a reason.
-
03
ask support for a human
If you have Meta Verified, open support in the Instagram or Facebook mobile app. Say: “This is about Threads.” Ask for full case notes, next steps and a case ID.
-
04
publish one honest post
Show proof. Share what you know. Own a real mistake if there was one. End with one clear CTA.
-
05
rally people around that one CTA
Ask friends to copy the same short reply. Keep it calm. No spam, threats or private IDs.
-
06
follow up with the same facts
Use your case ID. Ask what to do next and when to check again. If an appeal appears later, use it once.
02 / the most important part
give people one job.
Your post should end with one short reply. People should not have to think, write or choose.
- Tap copy the CTA.
- Paste it under the appeal post.
- If copy fails, press and hold the text.
make it true: change the capitals. Keep @conno_r. Tag the disabled account. Do not tag a pile of people.
03 / go deeper
everything you need.
the exact post
Read the full appeal in a Threads-style view. See the notes that explain each move.
open the post breakdown → 02the support call
Use the line-by-line script. Know what to say, what to ask and what to save.
open the support script → 03the copy kit
Build your own post, copy your CTA and tick off each recovery step.

Fwed’s truth check
proof, not a promise.
Lennox’s account came back about 12 hours later. Support saved notes. The community pushed one post. We do not know which step caused the restore — or if the system fixed itself.
