2 hours ago i tried to log in to my Threads account and saw this:

about 8 hours earlier i scheduled several posts - one of those was the one in the attached screenshot.

i think Threads’ AI flagged it as a “fake review”.

and in two ways, i accept it could be “fake”…

i made two real mistakes in the post i scheduled:

1. i wrote “2,055 interactions” when it was actually 2,035
2. i wrote “1,567 likes” when it was actually 1,597

plus saying “someone” instead of simply using the person’s first name sounds fake.

i genuinely accept that, and if this is actually the reason my account was suspended, all i can say is i fucked up and it was never my intention to deceive anyone. i am sorry from the bottom of my heart if you felt deceived by that post or - for that matter - any post i’ve published.

here is where i need your help.

my entire livelihood is built off Threads. i have two Threads businesses: an online community (Full Circle) and software (Threadify). last year i quit my job to go all in on both. they literally pay my mortgage. this was possible because i worked my ass off every single day for almost three years to build a fcking beautiful community of 30,900 thriends. i literally invented the word “thriend” when i started with 17 followers. both businesses also support my two co-founders’ livelihoods: my beautiful girlfriend @yassylindsay and my best mate, SamSam, who has very kindly let me borrow his account to write this post.

i asked myself the same question and realised how stupid i was.. so 4 days ago i published this inside my online community:

when i published that i started posting on X to diversify (i know, i know).

fast forward 4 days, and here we are - my Threads account is disabled. too little, too late..

i feel numb and genuinely unsure if i will be able to keep a roof over my head next month as a result of all this.

so here is my actual ask:

two months ago our community rallied around @heythemnaji and managed to restore his disabled account by tagging the head of Threads.

@conno_r please restore @lennox_saint’s disabled account. Lenny has “thread the love” of Threads for almost 3 years. if he’s violated any guidelines by the post mentioned above, he’s genuinely sorry and will not do it again. if you believe in the power of the Threads community, please undo this action and restore his account immediately.
